High T Senior is unique in the High T testosterone booster line because it is formulated for men over age 50.
While it includes ingredients clinically proven to raise testosterone, it also contains ingredients to support prostate health.
Men experiencing lower testosterone due to age may be interested in learning more about High T Senior. I looked closer at this supplement to give you all the information you need.
Are the High T Senior Ingredients Effective?
Testofen Fenugreek Extract. In a clinical study, Testofen, a standardized extract of the fenugreek plant, improved libido, muscle strength, energy, and well-being, as reported by 60 men. The men took 600 mg for 6 weeks.
The Testofen in High T Senior is part of a blend; thus, we don’t have a full assurance there is enough to be as effective as the study.
Eurycoma Longifolia Extract. When men with late-onset hypogonadism (which results in low sex hormone biosynthesis) took 200 mg Eurycoma for a month, they significantly increased testosterone levels. In fact, the percentage of patients with normal testosterone levels moved from 35.5% to 90.8%.
Eurycoma is considered safe when taken in medicinal amounts.
Rhodiola Rosea Extract. When given to a group of young physicians during night duty, Rhodiola Rosea reduced mental fatigue, improving concentration and memory. When given to healthy men, it maintained testosterone to cortisol ratio.
Thus, Rhodiola could reduce fatigue and even improve performance; long-term safety, however, is unknown.
Are High T Senior Ingredients in Proper Dosages?
High T Senior ingredients are part of a 1200 mg blend. Some supplement companies include the right ingredients, but in such small dosages, they do not produce the desired effect.
With 7 ingredients in the blend, it’s unlikely the ingredients are in minuscule amounts. However, we don’t know if ingredients are in the proper dosages proven to work in clinical trials.
Will High T Senior Cause Side Effects?
Many people make the mistake of equating “natural” with “safe.” Natural ingredients, however, might cause side effects.
The majority of ingredients in High T Senior are considered safe. However, some carry certain side effect risk.
• Fenugreek might cause diarrhea, stomach upset, bloating, nasal congestion, and lowered blood sugar.
• Beta-sitosterol could cause nausea, diarrhea, or constipation.
• Vanadium might result in abdominal discomfort, lowered blood sugar, and loss of energy; more than 1.8 mg could damage kidneys.
• Boron might cause poisoning or infertility in amounts higher than 20 mg.
The High T Senior formula should be safe; however, you should consult a doctor before using if you have a medical condition or are using medication.
Is High T Senior a Good Price Value?
High T Senior sells for $59.99 on GNC.com and $34.88 on Amazon.com. It’s not a screaming deal, but it’s a reasonable price, especially since High T Senior performs more than one function to support aging health.
I give High T Senior an 8/10 because it’s a solid formula, but it may work differently on each individual—there’s no guarantee it is effective for everyone. If you’ve tried High T Senior, leave a comment to let us know whether you think it’s worth a try.
