Aging skin can make us look much older than we are. Dull skin, lack of moisture, wrinkles and fine lines all give us an older look and it can start even when we’re not so old. That it why it is important to find an anti-aging cream that works to lessen these effects.

PuraSilk is an anti-aging cream that uses a proprietary blend of ingredients such as Gatuline A, Centella Asiatica, and Sepilift DPHP to stimulate collagen and help the skin be more free of fine lines and wrinkles, which make the skin look older.

The manufacturer of PuraSilk is Natural Health Network. There’s not a lot available on the manufacturer other than that they create the PuraSilk brand that encompasses their beauty cream market.

PuraSilk can be bought two different ways – one is through an outside vendor such as Amazon where it costs around $85 for 1.7 ounces. The other way is through their site where you get a free trial of the product and sign up for auto-renew shipments.

Active Ingredients

PuraSilk has a few proprietary ingredients.

Centella Asiatica. This is an ingredient derived from a tropical plant. This plant has been used by many traditional doctors, doctors like East Indian, Chinese, American Indian, and Indonesian. It helps to boost collagen and cellular proliferation which helps with toning the skin, stretch marks, and cellulite.

Allantoin. This is an ingredient that helps moisturize, heal, soothe, and works as an anti-irritant. It includes aloe vera which is an excellent moisturizer and helps with the immune system. It has a hypoallergenic pH balance to match the skin’s own pH.

Gatuline. This is an ingredient that has soothing action from purified saponins. It works as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent and has been proven in studies to help the skin.

Sepilift DPHPTM. This ingredient works as an antioxidant and works to boost collagen, firm the skin, and moisturize. As an antioxidant, it works to fight free radicals.

How Does It Perform?

PuraSilk claims to add up to 18% more moisture to the skin and stimulate natural anti-aging inhibitors by almost 50%. There aren’t many reviews on the product but those that have reviewed it haven’t had favorable results or had issues with the free trial and auto-renew process.

Benefits of PuraSilk

  • Has proprietary ingredients
  • Offers a free trial and money back guarantee

Weaknesses of PuraSilk

  • PuraSilk is quite expensive
  • Many reviews that were found were unfavorable due to the auto-renew process and those users had filed complaints about their money not being refunded or having issues with stopping the auto-renew process
  • No real favorable reviews were found, not even on their own site
  • Not made in the United States
  • No clinical trials are listed

Recommended Usage

The product is to be used once a day on clean skin. Simply cleanse the face, dry it, apply the moisturizer, and allow it to absorb into the skin.

Is It Appropriate for All Skin Types?

This product does seem appropriate for all skin types but it is an extra moisturizing formula so those with dry skin may find it more effective.

Is it Recommended?

Not according to what few reviews were found. No reviewers stated that it worked for them, only that they had issues with the auto-renew system.

Customer Feedback

There are few reviews to be found and the ones that did leave reviews were negative. Many of the auto-renew products seem hard to stop and even harder to get your money back even though it is supposedly a free trial. There were no reviews that stated any kind of positive feedback on the product. Perhaps if it were a product one could simply buy instead of getting into an automatic shipping scenario, the product may have had better reviews.

One Positive

One positive is the proprietary blend of ingredients.

One Negative

This product is very expensive to buy or you can use the auto-renew process for the free trial but not one customer has been happy with this process.
